I guess I'll start this thing going with a little introduction, hopefully a more permanent one that can sit happily on the sidebar or wherever will appear later, but for now you get me typing incoherently for the next few minutes. This is the School of Oriental and African Studies' Literary Society's Blog! Hello and welcome, I hope that you'll check back when we have some actual content.
We have already (!) produced a short magazine, the poetry and prose of which will probably end up here sooner or later. In addition there are plans for a podcast with the authors reading their works that, if all goes according to plan, will be on iTunes for ultra-semi-professionalism.
I can't really think of much else right now, and if chance allows this monstrosity will be hurled screaming into the abyss of archive soon enough so for now this is your benevolent techie, signing out.
